Lighted Mirror Sconce

This mirror is made out of leftover wood, mirror tile and trim.
Materials:

plywood (12" x 16")
2 pieces of thin wood molding (16" each)
2 pieces of thick wood molding (13" each)
finishing nails
hammer
wood glue
leather work gloves
12" x 12" mirror
mirror mastic
strip light
double-stick tape
scissors
paint or stain

Steps:

  1. Glue and nail molding strips around plywood. Paint or stain frame as desired .
  2. Once dry, put on gloves for protection. Add a dollop of mastic to each corner on the back of the mirror and press it in place on the top edge of frame. Allow mastic to dry completely according to manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Cut double-stick tape to the length of the strip light. Adhere the tape to the light back and press onto bottom edge of molding underneath mirror.
