Preparation:

After flowers have been dried, attach petals to a single coffee filter with a bamboo skewer and white craft glue (figure A). Place a second coffee filter over the petals, then brush the top of the filter with school glue. Allow to dry for two to three hours, then frame with an embroidery hoop (figure B).

Petal Mini-Purse

Materials:

brown paper bag
scissors
white craft glue
school glue
string or chain

Figure C
Create a small purse by first cutting a rectangular piece from a brown paper bag. Fold in a very narrow edge of each side to smooth the edges, then fold the rectangle in half. Once you see the form emerge, embellish by cutting away the corners. Use white craft glue to glue the flowers onto the paper (figure C).

Use the same method as the with the suncatchers, except this time, place a single layer of facial tissue over the flowers and brush with school glue. Allow to dry, then fold the paper over and place a string or a chain at the fold to serve as a tiny purse. It's a great place for children to store their belongings.
