Attach hooks to the top of a trellis for a rack to hold hats, coats, garden tools, etc.
Materials:

garden trellis
wax paper
flat latex black paint
handsaw
staple gun
eyehooks and picture wire

Steps:

  1. Use a handsaw to cut the trellis edges to fit the window (figure A).
  2. Paint it with two coats for complete coverage.
  3. Once dry, measure the trellis and cut wax paper with a straightedge to completely cover the back of it. Overlap the paper in the middle so the screening is seamless and easy to attach (figure B). Secure the paper in place with a staple gun , starting with the outside frame, and then secure it in the middle for a tight fit .
  4. Add eyehooks to the top of the screen and thread picture wire through to hang .
