Materials:

old floorboards or scrap wood
sand paper
paint
paintbrush
saw
2 hinges
screws
screwdriver

Steps:

  1. Clean and sand the wood. Cut two pieces to the dimensions of the books where the stand will be used.
  2. Paint or stain the wood. Attach the hinges to connect the pieces (figure A ).
