Here's a tip from Kristine Porter of Cary, Ill. Bookcases can display interests of the homeowner, and also add a lot to home decor. Give bookcases a decorator look by opening some beautiful old books, cornering a small set of books, adding hand bells to a group of schoolbooks, or a grouping of clocks next to a book titled something appropriate such as Timepiece. Look closely at the bookshelves and let them tell an interesting story.
