Materials:

pink bath sponge
safety pin
transparent tape
one-piece sweatsuit or pajamas for toddlers
clothes hanger
needle-nose pliers
white pantyhose or tights

Steps:

1. Begin by pinning a pink bath sponge to the seat of the sweatsuit. Use a piece of transparent tape to further secure the pin so it won't pop open.

2. Bend the two ends of the clothes hanger so that it forms "ears." Twist the hanger inward with needle-nose pliers so that it folds in on itself and is self-contained (figure A).

3. Cover the wire ears with white pantyhose or tights. Wrap the extra material around the curled hanger piece and knot it around a headband for the child to wear.

1. Cut cow shapes out of black felt and adhere to a white sweatsuit with double-sided tape (figure B).

2. Snip off a length of rope and tape one end so that it won't unravel. Unravel the other end to make it look like a tail.

3. Blow up a surgical glove like a balloon, then knot it. Both the tail and the surgical glove (udder) can be fastened to the costume with white string around the waist.
