Smart Solution of the Day

Kids' crafts expert John E. Thomas shows how to concoct toy dough with fruit-flavored drink mix. The best part is it contains no artificial preservatives or chemicals.

Materials:

2-1/4 cup flour
1 cup salt
2 Tbs. powdered drink mix (adds color and fragrance)
2 Tbs. cooking oil
1 cup water

Steps:

1. Mix together dry ingredients.

2. Add the wet ingredients and mix well.

* Note: To extend the life of the dough, add a tablespoon of mouthwash.
