Kid-crafts expert John E. Thomas demonstrates how to make fun stickers at home with just gelatin and water. Scratch-and-Sniff Stickers
Materials:
flavored gelatin
water
small paintbrush
images from magazines
finished coloring-book images
unsweetened drink mix
Steps:
- Dissolve a small amount of flavored gelatin with water. Brush liquid on the back of images that you've cut from magazines. Let dry overnight.
- Lick the back of the images or wet with a small amount of water, then apply as you would a normal peel-and-stick sticker.
- Make scratch-and-sniff stickers by painting finished coloring-book images with a mixture of unsweetened drink mix and water. For example, use pineapple-flavored drink mix on a pineapple, so that when it dries and is scratched, it will smell like pineapple.
