Here's how to make a top with just a compact discand a penny:

Steps:


  1. Use wire cutters to cut a small groove in the center of the CD.

  • Move 180 degrees from the first cut (around the inner circle) and make another cut so that a penny fits snug in the two grooves (see photo).

  • Embellish the new top with paint and give it a spin!
