Figure B
Figure A--Make homemade juggling balls with balloons and dried beans. First fill small plastic bag with beans (rice or sand can be substituted) and secure with a twist tie.

Figure B--Cut the top off of a balloon, and stretch it over the bag of beans, making sure to cover the knot on the plastic bag. Wrap another cut balloon around the ball from the opposite side to conceal the hole.

Figure C
Figure C--Decorate an empty potato-crisp container to hold the balls, and include some chiffon scarves. The scarves are very useful for teaching a child to juggle.

Figure D
Figure D--Chunks of potatoes can be made into bracelets and other pieces of fun jewelry that will last for years. Watch the video above to find out how easy it is to put them together.

Figure E
Figure E--Cut the potatoes into small chunks, about 1/2-inch square. Put the chunks on skewers and let them air-dry for about 10 days and they will become as hard as a rock. Paint the chunks while on the skewer.

Figure H
Figure F--After painting, string the spuds using elastic to make necklaces and bracelets.

Figure G--Buy some inexpensive frames, and let children decorate the glass with permanent paint markers. The frames are great to use to display family photos, and they also make great gifts.

Figure H--Start by drawing simple patterns with a black paint pen, then color in the designs.

Decorate the glass with themes associated with the picture, and when the paint is dry, put some brightly colored paper behind the picture and assemble the frame.
