The values range in price from $100 for plastic toy figures to $25,000 for the more elaborate wooden dummies. The oldest piece in his collection is from 1870 and is valued at $2,000. According to Gross, having the original box and materials can drive the price higher on any ventriloquist dummy. The McElroy brothers, Glen and George, are known for making the rarest dummies in the world.
