Details: Earnest Taylor made this 1900 arts-and-crafts-style sideboard in Glasgow, Scotland. Taylor gave the oak wood an ebony finish, which is very typical of this period. Taylor added pewter hardware and leaded-glass rose panels. Flowers and plants were also a popular arts-and-crafts motif. This sideboard is the only piece like this known to exist and is valued at $80,000.
