Steps:

  1. Cut and fit the floral foam into the picket fence window box (figure A).

  2. Hide the floral foam with excelsior grass (figure B).

  3. Take a 10-inch square of plastic cellophane wrap and turn a single cookie upside down in the center. Take the four sides of the cellophane and pull it to the center.

  4. Twist the plastic tightly around the cookie (figure C) and secure at the base with a twist tie.

  • Place a floral pick in the center of the plastic as close to the cookie as possible (figure D).

  • Wrap floral tape around the pick until the plastic is hidden.

  • Continue down the stem until the pick is secure (figure E).

  • Cut out leaf shapes from the green tissue paper and tape to the floral pick (figure F). Do the same a few inches down the stem.

The finished product is a colorful, tasty floral cookie garden with a basket that can be used again and again. Enjoy!
  • Continue until all the cookies are wrapped, then apply ribbon to each.

  • Before placing them in the planter, arrange the cookies by color or size (figure G).

  • Cover the top of the floral foam with excelsior grass. Make sure none of the foam can be seen.

  • Place the cookies in the planter. You may want to cut off the stems of some of them to make them shorter for the front.
