Witch's Brew Punch
Witch's Brew Punch

Ingredients:

equal parts cranberry juice and lemon-lime soda
sherbet (optional)
cloves
raisins
nonpowdered surgical glove (or dishwashing glove turned inside-out)
1 pkg. gelatin
2 cups boiling water

Preparation:

Mix juice and lemon-lime soda in a large cauldron (any large container). You can add sherbet to your desired taste as well. Sprinkle in goblin teeth (cloves) and dried spiders (raisins).

To make a ghoulish floating hand, dissolve gelatin in boiling water, allow the water to cool, then pour the gelatin mixture into a surgical glove. Make sure that the glove isn't powdered. Secure the liquid inside tightly with a rubber band. Chill the glove in the freezer until you're ready to add it to the punch.

Pumpkin Container
Pumpkin Container

In this example, black-bean soup has been poured into a hollowed-out pumpkin, which makes a great centerpiece. For a creepy touch, pour circles of sour cream on top of the soup, then drag a toothpick or chopstick through the circles to create the look of a spider web.

Spider Cupcakes

Make any cupcake a scary one by decorating it with licorice, jelly beans and red candies. Four licorice sticks added to each side serve as the spider legs, jelly beans serve as the body and two red candies can make for great spider eyes.

Ghost Sandwiches
Ghost Sandwiches

Any sandwich can be a ghost sandwich in just a few steps. Instead of fixing plain toast for breakfast or toasting a sandwich, toast the bread first, then use Halloween cookie cutters to cut out the shape from the toasted bread. Do this with two pieces of toast and make a sandwich, or decorate with raisins for some ghost toast.

Moldy Dinner Rolls

Before placing dinner rolls in the oven, sprinkle them with green food coloring. When the rolls come out of the oven, they will appear moldy.
