This wreath serves as a decoration until the herbs are ready to eat.
Floral designer Ardith Beveridge shows how to make and grow an herb wreath.

Materials:

organic fertilizers
herbs of choice
grapevine wreath
wire
brown florist tape
moss
ribbon

Steps:

  1. Use organic fertilizers since you are going to eat this wreath eventually.

  2. Use a grapevine wreath as the base, then pick out the herbs you like.

  3. Make a loop out of some wire to use as the hanger. Tape it with brown florist tape to will prevent it from scratching the surface on which it will hang.

  4. Attach the pots to the wreath, once again starting with a taped wire.

  5. Run the wire through the drainage hole in the bottom and twist that onto the wreath.

  6. Pot the herbs and cover the soil with moss.

  7. Decorate with ribbon. Tie a bow, then use another piece to attach it to the wreath.

  8. Water regularly.

  9. When the herbs have grown, dry them out by attaching them to another wreath. Hang so that the herbs dry straight.
