Figure B
  • Choose two or three large shells that already have a hole through them (figure B), or you can make a hole with a rotary tool, wearing safety goggles and following tool manufacturer's directions.

  • Place the shells over the tube of the pump in a pleasing manner, making sure not to interfere with the flow at the top of the tube.

    Figure C
  • Add tumbled beach glass (figure C), glass pebbles, or any desired accent item to hide the pump, and reflect the light and the water.

  • Add distilled water and enjoy this simple, soothing fountain. Note: You can use tap water but you may have to clean the fountain more often to avoid buildup.

Safety precautions - Never leave the fountain operating unattended. Water can evaporate over time and the pump would be ruined if the fountain runs dry. Place fountain out of reach of small children.
