Christmas Wreaths

Floral designer and instructor Ardith Beveridge stops by to give some ideas for using wreaths to host Sharon Anderson.

Figure A--There's no reason wreaths should stop at the door. Walls, coffee tables and dining-room tables are all good spots to place beautiful holiday wreaths.

Figure B--This beautiful green wreath combines natural and artificial elements and is really two wreaths in one. An artificial green wreath is combined with a wreath made from bay leaves, which provide a wonderful aroma during the holidays. When the wreath comes down, the dried bay leaves can be put to use in the kitchen.

Figure C--Load up on items at the craft store to create a wreath that's bursting with colors and textures. A golden angel in the center anchors the design, while French wire ribbon, artificial flowers and other elements add plenty of holiday cheer.

Figure D--Exciting colors make this contemporary wreath stand out on a table. Start by arranging oversize metallic Christmas ornaments in jewel tones such as silver and blue. Set a bowl of candies or a lamp in the center.
