Professional caterer Nick Grippo explains how to prepare a meal that's large enough to feed 10 people but costs just $50.

Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup minced chives
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 tsp. lemon juice

Preparation:

Mix together, then serve with tortilla chips and veggies like carrots, broccoli and celery.

London Broil
London Broil With Marinade

Ingredients:

6 lbs. London broil
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
4 tsp. ginger, grated or chopped
1 cup orange juice
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp. black pepper
pinch of salt
1 cup lemon juice

Preparation:

Score (make incisions with a sharp knife) the meat on a diagonal, then set aside. Thoroughly mix together marinade ingredients, pour over meat, then let set for at least two hours. Overnight is ideal. Cook on the grill.

This marinade also goes well with turkey, if you don't care for red meat.

Oven-Roasted New Potatoes

Ingredients:

3 lbs. new potatoes
1 cup olive oil
3 cloves minced garlic
5 Tbs. rosemary, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Mix olive oil and spices with potatoes, then roast in the oven for 20 to 40 minutes or until brown.

School-Colors Cake

Bake a package cake, then add school colors to the frosting with food coloring. Place the finished cake on a staff of books for presentation.
