  • Find wooden door hangings at a local craft store (very inexpensive) and decorate them with children's funny cutout pictures. Have them add their personal message, like "Do Not Disturb," "Genius at Work" or "Keep Out!"

  • Allspice--a dried berry of the pimento tree--is ground and commonly used to season pot roasts, baked goods and minced meats. A great way to mimic its flavor is to combine equal parts of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves into a blended, homemade version of allspice.
