  • The easiest way to clean grime off a plastic shower curtain is to throw it in the washing machine. Use the warm setting and add 1/4 cup of bleach. When it's done, hang it to dry.

  • Most people don't realize that extracts such as vanilla have a lot of alcohol in them. Instead of vanilla extract, try using vanilla powder, which can be found at specialty food stores. Another option is to use a fresh vanilla bean for that intense flavor.

  • Use a shower cap to cover paint for several hours or overnight.
