Three Way Intersection How am I Green?

The intersection of Napoleon Avenue, South Dorgenois Street and General Pershing Street in New Orleans is known as “three way intersection.”  The hope is that the once busy intersection will be converted into a grassy gathering space for the community.  The new “Education Corridor” being installed by Broadmoor Improvement Association will be located directly adjacent to the public space.  Rows of trees, vegetation, a grassy field and an inviting walking path will span the space between the Andrew Wilson Public Charter Elementary School and the Rosa F. Keller Center and Library (see Educational Facility link).  HGTV and Rebuilding Together will provide materials and volunteers for this worthy project.

How am I Green? How am I Green?- The public field space will add natural beauty to the “Education Corridor” while helping to improve air quality.
