Grilling has long been an American art form, but is all too often limited to burgers and steaks. Margaret Howard shows outdoor chefs how to break out of that rut. Traditional meat recipes are there, with some juiced up marinades and sauces. She also has informative sections on kebab and spit grilling, and does a good job covering grilled veggies.

What makes this book stand out are the extras. She provides for the beginner grillers with temperatures and cooking times, as well as tips for each item to be grilled. She also suggests pairings and menus for those who can juggle more than just the main course.
