Flea Market Finds With The Kovels : Episode FMF-206 -- More Projects »

Antique cameras are popular with collectors and fun to display in a book case or with old photographs. At the Renninger's Flea Market in Dutchtown, Penn., the Kovels find out what's new in antique camera collectibles today. Cameras have long been preserving history, so it's no wonder collectors are falling in love with them. Older models in working condition can fetch a high price even though it's extremely difficult to find film for them.

This Kodak Brownie camera dates back to 1900, which was its first year of production. Back then, you could snap it up for a buck. Today, it's priced at $125.

Here's a Kodak red bellows camera from around 1915. It's a real beauty and also sells for $125.

This little box camera is a rare Blair Camerette. It dates back to 1892 and costs $300.

Who could resist the Kodak Vest Pocket camera? It dates to 1917 and sells for about $25.

Here's a later Vest Pocket camera. The gray bellows indicate that it was made between 1924 and 1930. It's also priced at $25.

The latest trend in camera collecting is this Brownie camera, dating back to the 1930s. Its sleek, art-deco design and affordable price tag have enticed a new generation of collectors. This one is priced at $10.

These colored Brownies were popular in the 1930s and '40s. The brown one is made of cardboard, and the green one is metal. They range in price from $20 to $50.

Here's a wartime speed graphic camera. This is the camera that was used by photojournalists during World War II. The metal parts were painted black so they wouldn't reflect light.
