At the Memphis Big One flea market in Tennessee, meet a dealer who specializes in dough bowls from the 19th century. Most of them are round and run about $125. Rectangular bowls cost less--$75 each.

Old wood bowls have a dark patina, while reproduced ones are much lighter.
