Horse Blankets

Horse race blankets may soon become a hot new collectible. Dealer Peter Fox of Palisades, N.Y., sells horse blankets that were made especially to be worn by racing thoroughbreds. The horse blankets are adorned with the name and number of a horse, plus the name of the race. Autographed blankets and blankets worn by big race winners fetch a higher price. Flea Market Finds host and collectibles expert Ralph Kovel is certain that if the blankets catch on, the price is sure to rise because there is only one blanket made for each horse in each race.
