Check out the vintage lighters at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena, Calif. The most valuable dates back to 1878, and the most unusual is a miniature replica of a 1949 Buick!

This is called a billboard lighter.

Here's a lighter that is a replica of a 1949 Buick.

One of the oldest lighters is the "Mequils," with a patent date of 1878.

Turn the key ring on the back side to create sparks to ignite the specially treated rope.

This one is a miniature roulette wheel.

This gun lighter is from Germany and is priced at $125.

Here's a clever design made in Japan. It doubles as an ashtray.

For those who don't smoke but want to be on time, you can use this clever insert instead of a lighter. It's a clock.

Another great flea-market find was this fancy lady--a steal at $65.
