At the Renninger's flea market in Mt. Dora, Fla., collectibles expert Ralph Kovel finds one of his favorite childhood collectibles--Big Little Books. We see a variety of these little treasures up for grabs.

Big Little Books began in 1932 and were published by Whitman Publishing Co. They had text on one side of the page and a picture on the other.

The earlier books, like this Donald Duck from 1939, had black-and-white illustrations. This one costs $60.

Terry and the Pirates from 1941 was illustratated was Milton Kniff. It's marked $65.

This Blondie book from 1942 is priced at $45.

Books featuring movie characters such as Cowboy Tim McCoy were popular. Instead of illustrations, the book contained pictures from the movies. Prices ranged from $15 to $40, depending on the quality.
