A 1933 Coca-Cola Window Display
Have you heard that a family that collects together, stays together? Well, the Markowitz family is a perfect example. They have collected more than 1,800 pieces of Coca-Cola memorabilia--from signs to thermometers and mobiles. The history of Coca-Cola's advertising is actually what keeps their interest in the memorabilia alive and creates perfect harmony in their home.

Here are some quick tips on how to start your own collection:

  • Look for vintage items such as playing cards, blotters, and bottle openers from the 1930s to the '50s. They are readily available and can go anywhere from $5 to $100.

  • The rarest Coca-Cola collectible is from the 1920s. It's a 100-piece circus display that was used in store windows. One piece of this holy grail is worth $25,000 to $50,000!
