Lood-d-Loop Bracelet

Materials:

1/2-mm ElasticityTM clear stretchy elastic cord
6mm stone beads
3-mm stone beads
Super glue
Power Beads booklet #2509 - optional

Steps:

1. Thread a 3mm, then 6mm and then another 3mm bead on the center of a 24-inch length of elastic.

2. Thread a 6mm bead on the left end of the cord. Pass the right cord through the other end of the 6mm bead in the opposite direction as shown in (figure A). If the cords don't fit through a bead easily, stretch the cords to thin them and try again.

3. Add 3mm beads to the right and left cords and pass both cords through a 6mm bead as before as in step two.Repeat until the bracelet is the desired length.

4. Thread one of the ends of the cord back through the original 6mm bead. Tie an overhand knot with both ends of the cord (figure B) and dot the knot with glue to secure.

Power Beads Bracelet

Materials:

#5 pearl cotton
6mm stone beads
28 gauge wire

Steps:

1. Make a needle from 28 gauge wire and thread beads on a 36-inch piece of perle cotton which has been folded in half (figure C).

2. Arrange cords as shown in figure D and tie 3 to 4 square knots over two holding cords.

3. Add beads to the ends of each knotting cord and another bead over both holding cords.

4. To open and close the bracelet, slide the square knots along the holding cords as shown in figure E.
