Figure A--An enormous Georgian secretary in a far corner really anchors this room. The piece was built around 1760 and features a brilliant pediment, dental moldings and a well-fitted interior of fine mahogany.

Figure B--A French influence is seen in the geometric inlays of these nesting tables.

Figure C--A bronze imperial bushel measure holds a plant here, but it could also be used to chill bottles of wine or beer for a party.
