Details: Michelle and Don Stewart's Hawaiiana collection dates from the 1910s through the 1950s. Don shows off photos of famous surfers as well as one of the most popular Hawaiiana collectibles today--hula nodders. The nodders are a great item for beginning collectors because the inexpensive pieces can be found for about $25. The more collectible ones are valued around $300. The Stewarts also have a collection of Hawaiian figures. Julene Mechler made the more exclusive pieces in their collection. They even have a Mechler figure of themselves that was presented to them as a wedding gift.
