Ceramic poodles such as this one were all the rage in the 1950s. Collectors are rediscovering them. With a price tag of around $50, they're likely to increase in value soon, since they're no longer being made and the supply is limited.

California and Japanese pottery factories turned out ceramic poodle figurines with "stringy" or "spaghetti" hair. The hair was made using a press to create the slender strands that were meant to look like fur.
