At the Chicago Antique Toy Show, host Ralph Kovel meets a dealer who restores metal toy trucks. He shows some of the most valuable, like a Viking truck that now sells for $8,500 because of its rarity and expert restoration.

Some of the most highly sought-after vintage metal toy trucks are those made by the Buddy L Company. This one sold for $40,700 at a recent auction.

This aerial ladder fire truck has all its original parts and has been repainted.

Buddy L made this tank-line truck in the late 1920s. It includes its original faucet. It is priced at $2,495.

Here's a late 1920s Steelcraft dump truck. The bed of the truck still lifts. It's priced at $1,000.

This truck has visible wear and rust. It's priced at $625 because of its unrestored condition.

This train is a fairly common piece. It's priced at $395.

The manufacturer of this Viking truck is unknown, but it possibly dates back to the 1930s. The dealer says there's only six others known to be in existence today. You can haul this restored truck away for $8,500.
