Vintage clothes are popular to collect, and at the Santa Monica Airport Flea Market, meet a dealer who specializes in them. She shows designer apparel that's most valuable to collectors.

These articles of vintage clothing were designed by Patrick Kelly. Kelly was an influential 1980s designer who died in the late '80s. His designs have increased in value. This ensemble is priced at $450.

Here's a tweed jacket designed by 1960s designer Rudi Gernreich. It is priced at $550.

This is Zandra Rhodes-designed skirt and blouse. Rhodes was born in England in the 1940s and has worked as a designer since the late 1960s.

Here's a 1980s Missoni dress. Its priced at $350.

Here's a 1960s dress and matching scarf by an Italian designer. The complete outfit is priced at $500, although the dress shows signs of discoloration.

This is a crepe dress by English designer Ossie Clark. He was a famous designer in the 1960s and '70s, designing for famous rock stars like Mick Jagger. Clark's designs are limited productions, making the fashions difficult to come across.
