How To Text Message HGTV


You can send a text message to HGTV quickly and easily to receive exclusive content or to cast your vote during select contests. Just follow the simple step-by-step instructions below*
Step 1
Create a new text message.
  • Select Menu
  • Select Messaging
  • Select Create Message or New Text Message
Step 2
Enter the 5-digit phone number.
  • Enter 44881 as the "send to" phone number
Step 3
Enter the keyword as the message.
  • For the body of the message, enter the keyword provided. The keyword will be one of the following:
    • For most votes, the keyword is a single letter (A, B, C, etc.).
    • For most projects, the keyword is a full word (floor, window, closet, etc.)
Step 4
Send!
  • Select OK
  • Select Send
  • You will receive reply via text message with either a confirmation of your vote or the content you've requested.
