About the Front Yard:
When architect Mike Woodley was tasked with designing HGTV Green Home 2011, he kept in mind both the home's location (a former international airport-turned-sustainable community) and Frank Lloyd Wright's legendary prairie home style, an open and uncluttered floor plan inspired by the West's vast expanse of open prairie land. The result is a modern, eco- and family-friendly residence that is close to shopping and dining, yet buffered from hustle and bustle by smart landscaping details.
