About the Mudroom:
Why is the mudroom so important to active Stowe residents? “It’s always going to be chock-o-block full of different outerwear. It’s always going to be the first place the majority of people enter,” says interior designer Linda Woodrum. To accommodate heavy foot traffic, Linda chose durable slate-tile flooring, sourced in southern Vermont. Built-in maple cabinetry and gray walls continue the neutral, understated design scheme.
