The competition kicks off as host and mentor David Bromstad gives the finalists their first challenge: to make over their new living space. After being paired and assigned an area, each designer must incorporate a personal home decor item that they feel truly represents their design point of view. During the design process, David will check in on each team's progress and offer advice along the way. Guest panelist, entrepreneur and TV personality, Daisy Fuentes, will join Genevieve Gorder and Vern Yip to evaluate each finished space.
