This cleverly-designed storage rack for kitchen utensils was devised using a simple towel rack, re-purposed cans, and simple hooks. Have easy access to knives, forks and other small implements with this do-it-yourself project!

Materials Needed:

  • tin cans of various shapes and sizes
  • metal-safe drill bit
  • electric drill
  • spray paint in the color(s) of your choice
  • variety of washi tape, stickers and tags
  • scissors
  • safety goggles
  • S-hooks

Use a metal-safe drill bit to create a hole just below the rim on the back side of each tin can. Tip: Be sure to wear safety goggles when drilling into metal.
