Materials Needed:

  • watercolor dye paints
  • watercolor paper
  • painter's tape
  • medium paint brush
  • small paint brush
  • paint palette
  • squirt bottle filled with water

Assemble Materials

Put a few drops of paint into the wells of the palette. Squirt some water into each well. You can control the darkness of the color according to how much or little water is added to the paint.

Tape the watercolor paper down to your work surface with painter’s tape.

Paint Flower Centers

Start with the center of your flowers. Paint some loose circles at random spots on the watercolor paper.

Add Largest Flowers

Move onto your largest flowers. With a loose hand, paint organic shapes around a few of the flower centers creating a flower shape.
