Cut Out Templates
Once your templates are printed, use your utility knife and straight edge to cut them out. Hold onto the inner pieces that are removed when you're cutting (the white area of the "a," for example).
Iron On Templates
Lay templates on the canvas bag, shiny-side down. Put inner pieces where they belong. Take a hot iron and press template in place. Be sure to adhere the template so no fabric paint can seep underneath the freezer paper. Repeat the same process for the text template.
