Make a Faux Polaroid Clay Magnet
If you find yourself longing for the good old days of Polaroid film, whip up a few of these simple refrigerator magnets! Trade your Instagram photos in and out of the faux Polaroid frames and put your favorite snaps on display.

- air-dry or oven-bake sculpting clay
- rolling pin
- clay tool or craft knife
- baking sheet and oven, if using oven-bake clay
- small magnets
- washi tape
- Craft paint, paint brushes or permanent markers (optional)
Roll Out Clay
Warm the sculpting clay in your hands until it’s soft. Use the rolling pin to roll out a sheet that’s about 3" x 3" and 1/4" thick.
Cut Out Rectangle
Using the ruler and a craft knife, cut away the excess clay until you have a rectangle that’s approximately 2-1/4" x 3".
Cut Out Inner Square
Use the ruler and craft knife again to cut out a square that’s approximately 1-3/4” on each side. Clean up any messy edges with the craft knife.
