Kids' Superhero Cape

Step 4

Using rotary cutter or scissors, cut out shield.

Step 5

Use a computer to print your child's initial: First select a font you like then size the letter to 700 pixels or larger. Cut out the letter and use it as a pattern for cutting the felt initial.

Step 6

Pin letter to shield, then pin shield w/ letter to cape. Sew letter down, stitching through all three layers: cape, shield and initial. Finally, stitch around edges of shield.
