Glue Poinsettia Center
Cut small circles out of cream felt. Color each with a permanent yellow marker (Image 1). Apply fabric glue to the back of circles and stick them in a cluster to the center of each poinsettia (Image 2). Allow fabric glue to fully dry before assembling pillow.
Sew Pillow
Assemble pillow inside out and pin together, poinsettia blooms should be on the inside of the pillow at this step. Sew pieces together, leaving a 1/2-inch seam allowance and an opening on bottom edge of pillow that is large enough to insert pillow form. Tip: Keep in mind that felt is a delicate fabric and can easily stretch or tear if pulled too hard. Make sure the hole is large enough to accommodate the pillow form.
Sew Pillow Shut
Turn pillow right-side-out and insert pillow form. Fold the fabric in and pin the opening shut (Image 1). Use coordinating all-purpose thread and a needle to sew closed using a whip stitch (Image 2).
