- clear acrylic coasters
- construction paper
- hot glue/hot glue gun
- scout patches
Pick up a bunch of acrylic “showcase” coasters—you can find them at crafts or hobby stores. Cut a piece of construction paper the same size as the coaster’s mounting base.
Peel off the protective paper from the mounting base and stick the construction paper to it. Hot-glue patches (we used vintage scout badges) to the paper.
Attach the coaster’s top to the base by brushing a thin layer of strong glue, like E-6000 ($5, joann.com), around the edges.
Create this glass tile square, reminiscent of a quilt block, from cheerful green and yellow fusible glass.
