- 1 yard HGTV HOME fabric or fabric of choice (or 1/2 yard each of complementary fabrics)
- a variety of festive cookie cutters
- fabric trim
- hot glue gun and sticks
- twine or ribbon
Cut trim to size of cookie cutter parameter. Apply hot glue to cookie cutter edge, and attach one end of the trim (image 1). Wrap trim around cookie cutter, and apply hot glue every so often to adhere the trim (image 2).
Apply hot glue around edges of cookie cutter and press down on a piece of fabric that's facing up. Allow to dry.
Cut Excess Fabric
Cut excess fabric with sharp scissors as close to the cookie cutter as you can. Use a rotary cutter if necessary.
