Materials Needed:

  • 1/2 yard lace with a finished edge
  • large or small glass hurricane vase
  • matte finish ModPodge
  • matte finish white acrylic paint
  • 1" foam brush
  • paint brush
  • scissors

Measure and Cut Lace

Measure the lace up against one of the hurricanes. Cut a strip of lace 4” from the edge, keeping the pretty edge on the strip.

Attach Lace to Vase

Apply a thick coat of ModPodge on the top third of the glass. Wrap the lace strip around the glass, sticking it to the ModPodge.

Coat Vase With Glue

Apply a thick coat of ModPodge over the entire glass, saturating the lace. Let dry.
