Materials Needed:

  • paint, base color
  • 1" x 2" wood boards, 8-inches in length (as many needed to fill wall)
  • paint brushes
  • Painter's tape
  • nail gun
  • paint for inside hexagons

Step 1

Paint the wall a base color.

Step 2

Cut 1x2’s into 8-inches pieces. Make angles on both ends so the pieces fit together to form a hexagon shape.

Step 3

To be sure hexagons are level both horizontally and vertically, first use painter’s tape to arrange the pieces on the wall. Then secure them with a nail gun.
