How to Embellish Dining Chairs

Think beyond the tabletop this holiday season and create some fun and festive dining chair embellishments. All it takes is a handful of simple, holiday-themed craft store materials and a few dabs of hot glue.

1 1/2 to 2 inch wide, un-wired ribbon
hot glue gun and glue sticks

scissors
various holiday picks (such as faux greenery with pine cones, available at craft and floral supply stores)

Wrap Ribbon Around Chair

Starting and ending at the back of the chair, wrap a ribbon around the back of each dining chair two times. Tie loosely in the center of the chair, leaving a long length of ribbon on both sides.
Cut the ribbon on the bias a few inches up from the floor.
