Knead Dough
On a lightly floured surface, knead dough until it is firm. If dough is too sticky, add a tablespoon of water, and continue to knead.
Cut Out Shapes
Roll dough to an inch thickness and cut in desired shapes. Have fun with dog-
inspired cookie cutters such as bones, hearts and hydrants. Tip: Be sure to make treats appropriate for the size of the dog. Larger dogs prefer large treats; small dogs will appreciate smaller sized treats.
Bake Treats
Place treats on a baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the cookies stand in the oven until hard, from one to two hours.
